The Medical Education Foundation of the Academy of Medicine of Lima and Allen County, Ohio is a non-profit foundation offering financial assistance to medical students planning to practice at one of the three hospitals in the Lima/Allen county area.
All monies are given in the form of loans; we do not award scholarships or grants. Repayment of the loan will begin upon completion of a residency program. If the physician receiving the loan practices in Allen County, the loan is repaid without interest. If the physician decides to practice outside of Allen County, the loan is paid with the interest that has accrued throughout the loan period and residency.

- Two Letters of Recommendation (preferably from a pre-medicine educator and a healthcare professional)
